The Shanghai Masters has renewed its contract with tournament title sponsor, the prestige Swiss watchmaker Rolex.    Rolex will continue to sponsor the Shanghai Masters for the next ten years. The two parties will jointly present the Rolex Shanghai Masters from 2-15 October 2023 (including qualifying rounds) following a "significant upgrade" to the tournament.

LONDON: UK sports-focused production outfit Whisper has been appointed as the production partner for the 2023 and 2024 editions of Wimbledon, staged at The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC). The extensive contract sees Whisper, in which Sony Pictures Television holds a minority stake, set to produce the world feed, international highlights, a creative preview film and an official film of Wimbledon.

ABU DHABI: The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and IMG Monday announced Abu Dhabi will be the newest destination for the world’s professional women’s tennis tour. The ‘Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open’ will be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, from 5–12 February. It is the first ongoing WTA sanctioned tour event to locate in the Emirate.
