A Delhi court on Friday ordered framing of charges in the sexual harassment case filed by female wrestlers against powerful politician Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, whose writ continues to hold sway over the Wrestling Federation of India.

The former WFI president has also been charged with the offence of outraging the modesty of women. 

The court had earlier dismissed an application filed by Brij Bhushan, seeking time for making further submissions on the charges and for further investigation.

MUMBAI: The formation of a disputes resolution committee (DRC) to resolve the issue of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) seeking $70 million as compensation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has begun. Annabel Pennefather, an independent lawyer in the ICC DRC, has been nominated by BCCI as its representative, according to a report in The Hindu.

MUMBAI: In what should have been expected, the Bombay High Court has banned sports firm Grace India Sports Pvt Ltd (GISPL) from using any IPL-related terminology for a league the firm was intending to start. A report in Mumbai Mirror said that the court has barred GISPL from infringing on BCCI’s trademark “IPL”.
