A Delhi court on Friday ordered framing of charges in the sexual harassment case filed by female wrestlers against powerful politician Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, whose writ continues to hold sway over the Wrestling Federation of India.

The former WFI president has also been charged with the offence of outraging the modesty of women. 

The court had earlier dismissed an application filed by Brij Bhushan, seeking time for making further submissions on the charges and for further investigation.

RIYADH: Women in Saudi Arabia will be allowed to enter sports stadiums to watch football matches for the first time on Friday, the government announced on Monday. "The first match that women will be allowed to watch will be Al Ahli versus Al Batin on January 12," the Ministry of Information said. It added that women would also be able to attend a second match on next day and a third match on January 18.

BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, at a meeting held on Wednesday evening, granted the licence to the Bangalore Turf Club to conduct on-course and off-course betting activities with immediate effect, The Hindu reports. The club will conduct off-course betting on Mysore’s Friday races and on the first day of the Bangalore winter races on Saturday.
