MUMBAI: Match No. 32 of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, which was shifted from MCA Stadium in Pune to Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai due to COVID-19 outbreak in the DC team, finally went ahead on schedule. 

The developments came even as a second overseas player of Delhi Capitals tested positive. This came just hours ahead of the team's game against Punjab Kings. 

New Zealand's Tim Seifert tested positive after a Rapid Antigen Test conducted on Wednesday afternoon, making it the sixth such case in the camp.

ZURICH: FIFA will release all operational funding due to member associations for the years 2019 and 2020 in the coming days as the first step of a relief plan to assist the football community impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This measure will mean that a total of around $150 million will be distributed among the 211 national football governing bodies around the world.

LAUSANNE: World Archery has announced the Lockdown Knockout, the first remote archery competition to be streamed live on the federation’s digital channels. Eight compound archers – four men and four women – will be invited to take part in the first edition of the tournament, which will start with a qualification period on 1 May and matchplay following on 9-17 May.
