DC vs PK game goes ahead as 2nd foreigner tests Covid+ve

MUMBAI: Match No. 32 of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, which was shifted from MCA Stadium in Pune to Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai due to COVID-19 outbreak in the DC team, finally went ahead on schedule. 

The developments came even as a second overseas player of Delhi Capitals tested positive. This came just hours ahead of the team's game against Punjab Kings. 

New Zealand's Tim Seifert tested positive after a Rapid Antigen Test conducted on Wednesday afternoon, making it the sixth such case in the camp.

Serie A season to end Aug 20, new one to kick off Sep 1
ROME: The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has set the date of commencement for the start of 2020-21 season as September 1, while stating that the current Serie A season, suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will have to be completed by August 20. ATP, WTA extend tour suspension till July 31
