The Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy (RBTA) and Kamal India Foundation UK have entered into a collaborative initiative to provide comprehensive tennis training to underprivileged children aged between 9 and 11 from the remote areas of Majuli Island and Bongaigaon in Assam.

Around 300 kids underwent a skill and fitness assessment process and 25 were handpicked by Bopanna, the reigning Australian Open doubles champion, for inclusion in the programme.

LONDON: The ATP has announced a six-week suspension of the men’s professional tennis tour due to escalating health and safety issues arising from the global outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
