MUMBAI: Dream Sports-owned digital sports content platform FanCode has bagged exclusive 4-year broadcast rights for England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) new format cricket competition, The Hundred, in India. While financial terms were not disclosed, SportzPower can reveal that Sony Pictures Networks India had also put in a bid.

NEW DELHI: India will host the World Badminton Championships in 2026, the sport's global governing body, BWF, said on Tuesday. India were scheduled to organise the Sudirman Cup in 2023 but the Badminton World Federation decided to award the hosting rights of the world mixed team championships to China.

DUBAI: Following the expansion to its event programme in the next cycle, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has commenced the process to identify the hosts for men’s white-ball events to be held post 2023. The hosting of the ICC World Test Championship Final, the ICC women's and under-19 events in the new cycle will be determined in a separate process that will get underway later this year.

The request for proposals (RFP) for editorial services is designed to attract applications from entities with an experienced team and an extensive, proven record in providing written editorial material in sports, preferably at global events.

LAUSANNE: Oman's capital Muscat will host the inaugural FIH Hockey5s World Cups (Men and Women) to be held in January of 2024, the International Hockey Federation announced Thursday.  Oman won the bid to host the event by getting 13 votes out of a total of 16 and beating six other bidders.
