NEW DELHI: Leading multiplex chain INOX Leisure Ltd on Wednesday announced that it is all set to live screen matches of the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 across its 22 multiplexes in 15 cities.

In all, it will screen live around 40 matches of Qatar 2022, which commenced earlier this week and will end on December 18.

Soccer fans will experience stadium energy in a carnival-like atmosphere at its multiplex, an Inox statement said.

MUMBAI: Culver Max Entertainment (aka Sony Pictures Networks India), Wednesday confirmed the acquisition of exclusive television rights to broadcast the upcoming India tour of Bangladesh, which will include three one-day internationals and two Tests.  The matches will air LIVE on Sony Sports Ten 5, Sony Sports Ten 3 and Sony Sports Ten 4 channels exclusively for the territory of India.

Xfinite’s blockchain-based video streaming application Mzaalo has acquired the India territory live streaming rights for the upcoming World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Lightweight World Championship title bout between Jose Zepeda and Regis Prograis. Mzaalo sub-licensed the rights from US-based Legendz Entertainment, the master rights holder.

MUMBAI: Culver Max Entertainment (aka Sony Pictures Networks India) has reportedly bagged the media rights to showcase India's tour of Bangladesh.  Although not officially announced, the development was separately reported by two media platforms. Featuring two Tests and three ODIs, the series will be held from the 4th to the 26th of December.

MUMBAI: Viacom18 Sports Tuesday announced a seven-year partnership with Cricket South Africa (CSA) for exclusive digital and TV rights for all international cricket, from 2024-2031. As part of the association, Viacom18 will present all senior men’s international and senior women’s international competitions played in South Africa. Financial terms were not disclosed.
