LAUSANNE: World Table Tennis Wednesday announced Coca-Cola as WTT’s first-ever partner in the modern era of the sport.

Coca-Cola will be the Official Beverage Partner of WTT events in China during 2021 – the year in which WTT embarks on its mission to revolutionise table tennis by launching a brand-new series of international events.

LAUSANNE: The 2023 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals will be staged in Durban, South Africa, after Member Associations voted during the 2020 ITTF AGM held on Monday. It’s an historic first time that the ITTF’s most prestigious event is being held in South Africa and the first time on the African continent since Cairo, Egypt, in 1939.

DOHA: Qatar will stage the 2021 Men's and Women's Asian Table Tennis Championships, it was announced Monday.  The Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) confirmed to local daily The Peninsula that the event will be held in September next year.   QTTA has won the hosting rights following the withdrawal of China and India, who were part of the bidding race.
