Highlighting the growing popularity of gaming in India, a study by social media firm Meta said nearly half of casual gamers and 43 per cent of real-money gamers come from non-metro geographies.

A study by Meta GWI showed that more than three of four casual and real-money gamers in the country discover new games to play and purchase on social media, and more than 90 per cent of these do so on Meta platforms.

NEW YORK: A 2024 Super Bowl advertising study from behavioral research company Veylinx has determined whether Super Bowl commercials boost consumer demand for the products advertised. The results show that 2024 Super Bowl advertising fueled a 16.4% increase in overall product demand among viewers, with Doritos Dinamita, Michelob Ultra and e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter outperforming the other brands tested.

A total of 4,716 international transfers were completed in men’s football during the 2024 January window, an increase of 0.6% compared to the previous January window, according to FIFA’s International Transfer Snapshot. Total spending on transfer fees hit $1.46 billion in men's football, and a record expenditure of $2.1 million in women's football.
