NEW DELHI: Hindi film actor Suniel Shetty was on Tuesday appointed the brand ambassador of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
The country’s anti-doping body is hoping that Shetty's celebrity status helps its efforts to clean up sports in the country from the menace, PTI reports.
Shetty's personae as a "muscle man" in the film industry makes him a good "fit" as of the 150+ athletes who failed dope tests this year, bodybuilders make up more than one-third of the offenders.
