NOVAK DJOKOVIC, DEPORTED BY THE AUSTRALIAN government on Sunday and unable to defend his Australian Open crown, has some hard choices to make regarding his unvaccinated status in the coming months. 

As was already the case, the Winbledon and US Open authorities had made clear earlier that there would be no entry and no exemptions for any unvaccinated player at the two upcoming Grand Slam tournaments later this year.

NEW DELHI: The Boxing Federation of India has suspended its former general secretary and Maharashtra state body president Jay Kowli after its disciplinary committee ruled that he had failed to perform his duties in the current role. Kowli, who is also a referee/judge, has been "barred from all boxing-related activities in India and abroad due to dereliction of duty", a top federation official told PTI.
