NEW DELHI: As the inaugural edition of the World Esports Cup 2021 (WEC ’21) enters the business end, a video of India’s top Free Fire teams challenging the oppositions through a rap song clocked over 10 million views across the social media channels, including more than 5 million-plus views so far on India Today Gaming (ITG) YouTube channel. 

WEC ’21, a tri-nation tournament, has been witnessing an intense competition involving top esports teams from India, Pakistan and Nepal.

NEW DELHI: World Esports Cup (WEC’21) has recorded close to 1.2 million registrations from the gaming community from India, Pakistan and Nepal.  The registration phase ended last month.  Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, WEC’21, which kickstared November 25, is being played virtually over a period of three months, with athletes competing in Free Fire.

NEW DELHI: World Esports Cup (WEC’21), South East Asia’s tri-nation esports tournament, will be played between gamers from India, Pakistan and Nepal. The primary goal of the World Esports Cup will be to give gamers a chance to represent one’s own country, something not everyone gets to do quite often in the esports community in the South Asia region in one of the most popular Battle Royale game.
