MUMBAI: Disney Star, official television broadcaster of TATA IPL, registered a cumulative reach of 307 million (30.7 crore) viewers for the first ten matches of the 2023 edition of world cricket's richest annual tournament, the network announced Thursday.  

The broadcaster further declared that it has garnered 23% more viewers compared to the previous IPL edition. This reach happens to be the second-highest ever in IPL history (other than IPL editions during Covid).

MUMBAI: JioCinema, the official digital streaming partner of TATA IPL 2023, made a blockbuster debut with a stellar opening weekend, the Reliance-owned platform asserted Monday.  The number of video viewers for the first weekend alone on JioCinema eclipsed what was recorded across the entire last season of TATA IPL on digital, the stremer declared. This was also higher than the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

MUMBAI: Disney Star, the official television broadcaster of IPL 2023, clocked a total of 8.7 billion minutes of consumption on TV for the opening match, a 47% growth in comparison to last year, the network asserted, quoting BARC 2+ (Urban+Rural) data. The broadcaster further said that its rating grew by 29% as per the BARC, Male 15+AB (Urban) data.

MUMBAI: Ahead of the 16th edition of the TATA Indian Premier League, official broadcaster Disney Star and official digital partner Viacom18 have between them reportedly roped in a total of 34 sponsors, the highest ever for the IPL.  For the last edition, Disney Star, which had both TV and digital rights, roped in 28 sponsors, exchange4media reports.

NEW DELHI: Gadget accessory & consumer electronics brand UBON has announced its sponsorship of the Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming season of the TATA IPL.  The team, which is captained by Sanju Samson, will wear UBON's logo on their Helmet and cap throughout the tournament. The partnership is expected to help UBON reach a broader audience and showcase its products to a diverse consumer base.
