Witold Banka

MONTREAL, Canada: Poland’s Sport and Tourism Minister Witold Banka is set to become the next president of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) after a vote on Tuesday left him as the only remaining candidate.

WADA’s executive committee and foundation board declared Banka - a WADA executive committee member and former 400m sprinter - as their preferred candidate for the body's presidentship when Craig Reedie steps down at the end of 2019.
