NEW DELHI: Delhi Capitals is excited to announce a successful trade ahead of the 2020 season of the VIVO Indian Premier League, by acquiring veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, and releasing Indian left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith to Kings XI Punjab.
While financial terms were not disclosed, PTI reports that the trade earned Kings XI Punjab Rs 15 million. Ashwin is expected to be paid Rs 76 million, his auction value, by Delhi Capitals.
