MUMBAI: Uday Shankar, president, The Walt Disney Company APAC and chairman, Star & Disney India, has named the successor to Sanjay Gupta, till recently, country manager of Star & Disney India, in an internal mail sent out Friday morning.
K Madhavan, managing director (South), Star India, has been appointed Star & Disney India's new country manager, replacing Gupta, who is joining internet behemoth Google as its India country manager. For the record, Gupta's last working day at Star will be December 27.
