24 Hours of Le Mans

PARIS: Toy manufacturer Silverlit has partnered with Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and 24 Hours of Le Mans, to launch a remote-controlled hypercar.

Designed in France to celebrate the endurance race’s 100th anniversary this year, the Exost Hypercar features aerodynamic lines, advanced technology and racing wheels that allow fans to make the tyres squeal and vibrate to the rhythm of the car’s engine. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor terrains, the car reaches a top speed of 20km/h with a runtime of 45 minutes.

Topps, a part of Fanatics Collectibles, the physical and digital trading cards and collectibles company within Fanatics, Inc., announced Tuesday that it has become the new 24H Le Mans official licensed partner.  As a part of the partnership, Topps will provide exclusive trading cards from the iconic motorsport event.

PARIS: In view of the changing health situation related to the coronavirus and the latest government guidelines, the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans, initially scheduled for 13-14 June, has been postponed until 19-20 September.
