Chris Kermode

LONDON: Chris Kermode’s tenure as ATP executive chairman & president will not extend beyond his current term which expires at the end 2019, the ATP announced on Thursday.

The announcement came ahead of a vote on his future on Thursday where the indications were that the Briton did not enjoy majority support, with some arguing players do not see enough of the sport's revenue.

Interestingly, the ATP's "elder statesmen" Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal had argued against Kermode being ousted. He also enjoyed the support of tennis' "next-gen".
