NEW DELHI: In its special general meeting (SGM) on Friday, the BCCI finally signed the CoA-announced revised central contracts of players ahead of the tour of England.
Uncertainty over player payments was looming large due to the troubles between the CoA and the BCCI. The former had announced the new payment provisions on March 7, yet the BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary refused to sign them citing that it had to be approved by the board in a meeting featuring representatives of 28 state associations in the first place.
