NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation's disciplinary committee Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 1 million each to five I-League clubs, including former champions Aizawl FC and Minerva Punjab FC, while East Bengal were told to pay Rs 500,000 for pulling out of Super Cup in March-April.

Churchill Brothers, Gokulam Kerala FC and Neroca FC were the other three clubs fined Rs 1 million each.

The committee did not give any decision against Mohun Bagan and referred the case for arbitration since the Kolkata side did not sign up for participation.

KOLKATA: A Rs 300,000 fine the All India Football Federation (AIFF) disciplinary committee slapped on Aizawl FC for crowd trouble in their January 25 match against Mohun Bagan, has received a quick riposte from the owner of the defending I-League champions. Aizawl FC president Robert Royte claimed on Sunday that the AIFF owed his club roughly Rs 5.7 million in outstanding dues since the 2015-16 season.
