BENGALURU: Karnataka’s minister of Youth Empowerment and Sports, KC Narayana Gowda, announced on Thursday that Sree Kanteerava Stadium, home turf of Hero Indian Super League franchise Bengaluru FC since the club's inception, will henceforth not be used for football.

BENGALURU: Reigning Indian Super League champions Bengaluru FC confirmed Thursday that BFC will be playing its home games for the 2019-20 ISL season out of the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.  A statement issued via the club's Twitter handle reads: "STATEMENT: We can confirm that Bengaluru FC will be playing its home games for the 2019-20 season out of the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. #WeAreBFC #RoomForMore"

BENGALURU: The Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports (DYES), government of Karnataka, has issued a letter of consent to reigning Indian Super League champions Bengaluru FC (BFC) to hold its matches at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Sportstar reports.

NEW DELHI: The final of the fourth edition of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) will be held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on March 17. The summit clash was slated to be held in Kolkata, but ATK failing to make it the playoffs as well as spectator apathy seemed to have swung the decision in favour of Bengaluru.
