MUMBAI: The original promoters of the defunct UBA Pro Basketball League, after a failed attempt to launch the Elite Pro Basketball League last year, have now announced a women's 5X5 pro basketball league.
Elite Pro Basketball Pvt. Ltd, organisers of the proposed Elite Women's Pro Basketball, have declared to IANS that tryouts for the league will be held from 17th to 20th March in Noida.
Post the tryouts, 72 athletes will make the cut in six teams, Sunny Bhandarkar, CEO of Elite Pro Basketball Pvt. Ltd, told the newswire.
