MUMBAI: As India's Covid case load continues to batter the country, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is reportedly in contact with the Emirates Cricket Board to move the ICC World Twenty20, which India is scheduled to host in October, to the UAE.
Pakistan's Dawn newspaper, quoting reliable sources, reports that the ICC and and the Board for Control of Cricket in India are both convinced that the present Covid-19 crisis in India makes it nearly impossible for India to stage the tournament in its allotted time frame.
