ZURICH: FIFA announced Tuesday the launch of FIFA+, a free DTC digital platform created to "connect football fans across the globe more deeply with the game they love".
The launch of its own own broadcast platform – that will stream a mix of live matches, acquired documentary and lifestyle programming, as well as archive content - marks the direct big bang entry of the world's richest and most powerful sports governing body into the media business.
