LONDON: Tecno Mobile and Manchester City have collaborated with football content and media business Footballco on a new campaign that will see two aspiring football journalists from India given the chance to become trainee correspondents writing for Footballco’s GOAL website, covering the reigning Premier League champions.

Tecno Mobile is Manchester City’s official global tablet and handset partner.

LONDON-BASED GLOBAL SPORTS media company DAZN Group Ltd (DAZN), has reportedly finalised an agreement to sell a majority stake in its digital football-focused platforms, including Goal.com, to Integrated Media Company, a venture backed by California-based investment firm, Tarrant Capital IP LLC (TPG).

LONDON: DAZN Group, the British-based digital sports media company owned by the billionaire Len Blavatnik, is reportedly in end-stage talks to sell its football website Goal.com to US-based investment firm TPG Capital.  The New York Times reports that TPG, which counts Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Spotify and Vice in its broad portfolio, would be acquiring Goal through one of its affiliates for $125 million.
