MUMBAI: Disney Star, the official television broadcaster of TATA IPL 2023, has become the first ever cricket tournament to register more than 500 million viewers.
According to BARC, a staggering 505 million viewers tuned in to Disney Star’s live broadcast of the IPL games. Disney Star recorded 427.1 billion minutes of watch time for the live broadcast of the matches, showing the huge popularity of the tournament among the fans. In addition, the platform reported 32 per cent growth in television ratings (TVR) compared to the 2022 edition.
