The BCCI has made clear that the question of Team India going to Pakistan for next year's ICC Champion's Trophy is dependent on the Union government granting permission.

BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla told ANI on Monday that the Indian cricket board will follow the Centre's directives on the matter.

“In the case of the Champion Trophy, we will do whatever the government of India will tell us to do. We send our team only when the government of India gives us permission. So, we will go according to the decision of the Indian government,” Shukla said.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday quashed an FIR against BJP MP Anurag Thakur, former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and others in a case related to alleged irregularities in granting land on lease for construction of the Dharamshala cricket stadium. DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has charged Sri Lankan bowling coach Nuwan Zoysa with three counts of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code and been provisionally suspended him.  Zoysa, who played 30 Tests and 95 ODIs for Sri Lanka during 1997-2007, has 14 days from 1 November to respond to the charges.
