MUMBAI: Digital sports platform will be exclusively broadcasting the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) for its 40th anniversary season in India. 

The sports car racing series, DTM, is based in Germany, and features top-tier sports car racing action across Europe. Encompassing the entire eight-event series, the partnership will allow Indian fans to catch all the action live on FanCode from 26th April to 20th October. 

India’s racing sensation Arjun Maini will be in action for the Mercedes-AMG team.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: NASCAR Friday announced that it has successfully closed its $2 billion acquisition of International Speedway Corporation (ISC), merging its operations into one, new company moving forward.  The merger, which was announced in May and won shareholders' approval on Wednesday, brings under NASCAR's control 12 tracks that include Daytona, Talladega and Miami-Homestead Speedway.

RIO DE JANEIRO: Dorna Sports has confirmed that MotoGP will be returning to Brazil from 2022, with a five-year contract with Rio Motorsports (RMS) securing the sport’s return to Rio de Janeiro until 2026.  The all-new Rio Motorpark, set for construction in Deodoro, will host the Grand Prix, which is back in Rio after 15 years.

MUMBAI: The franchise-based X1 Racing League - a concept brought to fruition within an 18-month time frame by Indian racers Armaan Ebrahim and Aditya Patel - will hit circuits on November 30-December 1 in New Delhi and December 7-8 in Chennai. The six-team league, which revealed the names of five of six franchise owners at a launch event here Wednesday, will be powered by JK Tyre Motorsport.
