CA has invested heavily in preserving, digitising, and cataloguing its vast archive from the past 40-odd years of cricket played in Australia with a goal to make the archive as accessible as possible.

SYDNEY: Cricket Australia announced on Friday new radio right deals, which will ensure that three entities namely ABC, Macquarie Media Limited (MML) and Crocmedia, will broadcast cricket for the next 6 years in Australia. It also confirmed that fans will continue to have the option of streaming all radio coverage through cricket.com.au and the Cricket Australia Live app.

CANBERRA: Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland announced his resignation on Wednesday after 17 years at the helm of the sport in the cricketing powerhouse.  He has given CA a notice period of 12 months until a suitable replacement is found.

PERTH: Cricket Australia (CA) announced on Wednesday a four-year partnership with Western Australian energy company, Alinta Energy.  As part of the deal, the company will become the principal partner as its logo will be showcased on all jerseys of the Australian men’s cricket team. It will also partner CA’s national digital platform MyCricket from July, that extends from the elite level to grassroots cricket.

MELBOURNE: Cricket Australia (CA) confirmed on Thursday that it will compensate Bangladesh following the cancellation of their 2-Test and 3-ODI series in August this year, IANS reports. Australia are planning to host them for a T20 series in late 2019, so that both teams can be adequatedly prepared for the ICC World T20 to be held in Australia in 2020.

MELBOURNE: India will not play a day-night Test when they travel to Australia later this year, Cricket Australia confirmed on Tuesday. Australia had wanted to have the opening Test of the four-match series against India, starting 6 December, at Adelaide Oval as a day-night affair, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has turned down the proposal.

NEW DELHI: The BCCI has informed Cricket Australia (CA) that India will not play any Day/Night Test match on their tour Down Under at the end of this year. While Cricket Australia were keen on having a pink ball Test, which has been a convention for all touring teams for the past few years, the Indian board has made it clear it will not accede to CA's wish.

NEW DELHI: Australian bowling legend Shane Warne has slammed Cricket Australia on Twitter for its ‘greed’ over CA's decision to expand the T20 Big Bash League next summer. According to the plan, the new BBL will have 43 matches instead of 35. This will extend the tournament up to mid-February as four new venues will be introduced in the 2018-19 season.

MELBOURNE: Cricket Australia Friday sealed a new six-year broadcast and digital agreement worth A$1.182 billion ($920 million) that also broke Channel Nine's four-decade stranglehold of CA television rights. The new agreement signed with Fox Sports and Seven West Media is an increase on the current rights value where CA receives up to A$600 million from its existing five-year deal.
