Cricket West Indies

MUMBAI: Dream Sports-owned FanCode, which holds the India terrritory media rights – streaming and broadcast – of Cricket West Indies (CWI) till 2024, has part sublicensed digital rights for the upcoming India vs West Indies series to Reliance-controlled Viacom18.

As was done for the just concluded 2023 edition of the TATA Indian Premier League, the media conglomerate will be streaming the series for free on JioCinema.

ANTIGUA: The International Cricket Council (ICC) teamed up with Cricket West Indies (CWI) to launch the ‘Mothers & Daughters coaching program’ in St John’s, Antigua ahead of the upcoming Women’s World T20 in the West Indies. The tournament will be played across Antigua, St Lucia and Guyana in November. More than 100 participants were present at the launch of the program.

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Tuesday the schedule for India’s upcoming home series against the West Indies from 4 October to 11 November. The two teams will battle it out across 2 Tests, 5 ODIs & 3 T20Is. Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh city is all set to make its international debut with a T20I between the teams on 6 November.

LONDON: Cricket West Indies is strongly considering the prospect of inviting the Indian cricket team to play 3 T20I matches at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida in July 2019 right after the World Cup in England, CWI CEO Jonny Grave has confirmed.

ANTIGUA: Cricket West Indies and Irish telecommunications company Digicel have announced the termination of their sponsorship agreement, which ended Digicel’s 13-year association with the game in the Caribbean.
