Indian Olympic Association

The Indian Olympic Association, which has been dragging its feet for more than a year on the International Olympic Committee's demand that it appoint a professional chief executive, will finally re-initiate the hiring process after being called out by the IOC. 

The IOA executive council, which met in Mumbai on Tuesday, decided to issue a new advertisement for the post. The CEO will be an ex-officio member of the IOA executive council without voting rights.

KUWAIT: The Olympic Council of Asia, in cooperation with Olympic Solidarity, have announced the dates and venues of the two regional forums for National Olympic Committees in 2017.  NOCs from Central Asia, South East Asia and East Asia will be involved in the first of the forums – at Incheon, Korea, on March 28-29.
