U17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 launches volunteer prgm

NEW DELHI: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the upcoming U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 Monday launched the volunteer programme for India’s first-ever FIFA women’s competition.  

The FIFA Volunteer programme encourages people from all backgrounds and all walks of life to register to become a part of the upcoming U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022. The tournament will take place across Bhubaneswar, Goa and Navi Mumbai in India between 11th and 30th October.

Tokyo 2020 unveils mascot shortlist
TOKYO: The organising committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 has shortlisted three mascot design sets for the the next Summer Olympics. Each design set contains one mascot for the Olympic Games and one for the Paralympic Games. In all, the mascot selection panel reviewed 2,042 entries, submitted by the public as part of an open competition.
