NEW DELHI: Tata Steel Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hockey India to become an Official Partner of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar - Rourkela.
The 15th edition of the event will take place in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela from January 13 to January 29, 2023.

JAMSHEDPUR: The Tata Steel Group and PGTI have announced the 17th TATA Open Golf which will be held here from Thursday running through to Sunday, 23 December.
The four-day tournament will be hosted at Steel City's Golmuri Golf Course here. The Pro-Am was played on Wednesday. The event offers a rich prize purse of Rs 10 million and constitutes the last leg of the 2018 PGTI season.

NEW DELHI: Tata Trusts on Wednesday joined hands with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid (ATM) to enhance and strengthen the Spanish club’s existing program for promoting Indian football, Press Trust of India reports.
As part of the deal, the Tata Football Academy (TFA) in Jamshedpur is all set to be renamed as ‘Tata Atletico Football Academia’.

BHUBANESWAR: Indian multinational steel-making giant Tata Steel was Monday announced as an official partner for the upcoming Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018, which kicks off Tuesday, running through till December 16 at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in the capital city of Odisha.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

KOLKATA: India is all set to host its first ever world event in chess as the tournament is set to take place at one of the cultural hubs in the city, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, from 9 to 14 November.
It has also confirmed Tata Steel as its principal sponsor and will be known as ‘Tata Steel Chess India’.

KOLKATA: LaLiga heavyweights Atletico Madrid are likely to enter into an alliance with Jamshedpur FC, the Indian Super League (ISL) team owned by Tata Steel after it recently appointed Cesar Ferrando as the club’s new head coach, Hindustan Times reports.
The 58-year-old Spaniard coached Atletico in the past during the 2004-05 season.

JAMSHEDPUR: Tata Trusts and Tata Steel have announced the establishment of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) at Jamshedpur, a world-class high performance residential hockey training facility for 14-to-16 year-old boys.
The academy was inaugurated on the eve of the founder’s day celebration on Friday by Ratan Tata, chairman, Tata Trusts.
