MELBOURNE: Tennis Australia has reportedly launched a secret A$1 billion ($760 million) bid made to the Victoria state government seeking controlling rights of the venue of the first Grand Slam of of year.

NEW DELHI: The Asian Cricket Council meeting, taking place in Kuala Lumpur Monday and Tuesday, sees the Pakistan Cricket Board ranged against the BCCI on the matter of the hosting the Asian Emerging Nations Cup, which was awarded to the PCB last year.
The BCCI, supported by its counterparts in Bangladesh, has pitched for moving the Asian Emerging Nations Cup out of Pakistan, citing security concerns.

MUMBAI: Star India is now officially the one-stop shop for all big-ticket cricket played in India after the 21st Century Fox subsidiary retained its hold on BCCI rights for the next five years with a winning bid of Rs 61.381 billion.
Star's bid for the global consolidated rights to Indian cricket amounts to an average per match value of Rs 601.77 million for the 102-game BCCI FTP for the period 2018-2023.
