Broadcast Rights

MUMBAI: Digital sports platform will be exclusively broadcasting the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) for its 40th anniversary season in India. 

The sports car racing series, DTM, is based in Germany, and features top-tier sports car racing action across Europe. Encompassing the entire eight-event series, the partnership will allow Indian fans to catch all the action live on FanCode from 26th April to 20th October. 

India’s racing sensation Arjun Maini will be in action for the Mercedes-AMG team.

MUMBAI: A development about which SportzPower had been alerted to back in July can now be confirmed. The severely downsized offer made by Star Sports, broadcast rights holder for the Bundesliga in India since 2014, to continue televising Germany's top tier league in the new cycle, has been rejected by DFL Sports Enterprises, international media rights distributor for German football.

LONDON: UK-based nature sports and wellness video platform, Horizon Sports which is positioned as Nature Sports & Wellness TV has licensed its catalogue to Indian entertainment streaming platform MX Player. Under this agreement, Horizon Sports will provide 500 hours of content relating to action, endurance and adventure sports and wellness to over 200 million monthly users in India on MX Player.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Monday confirmed a report published earlier by SportzPower that SPN has retained the the exclusive global media rights (originally held by Ten Sports) for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), with the exception of terrestrial, digital and radio rights for the territory of Sri Lanka, which has been retained by SLC, for a period of 3 years, effective 1st July.
