Red Bull confirms chief designer Adrian Newey to step down

Red Bull have announced that Adrian Newey is to leave the team, with the esteemed F1 designer departing after almost 20 years at Milton Keynes.

Newey joined Red Bull ahead of their second F1 season in 2006 and has been instrumental in the squad’s success over the years, helping to turn the operation from midfield runners and points scorers into Grand Prix winners and world champions.

LONDON: IMG Motorsports, promoter of the FIA World Rallycross Championship (WRX), has announced plans to introduce an electric racing element to each race weekend on the calendar.     The concept, titled Projekt E, will allow rallycross fans to enjoy the traditional internal combustion engines – and be given a glimpse of the future for production-based cars.

McLaren Racing upgrades Coca-Cola deal for 2019 F1 season
LONDON: Formula 1 team McLaren Racing announced Saturday that it will be extending and enhancing its association with global beverage giant Coca-Cola for the 2019 championship season.
