NEW YORK: Major League Baseball (MLB) and Star Sports India Monday announced a new multi-year broadcast agreement to air every game of the 2020 and 2021 World Series live across India. 

In addition to now holding the exclusive pay TV rights to the Fall Classic, Star Sports, the leading sports broadcaster in India, will also broadcast new baseball content created specifically for Indian audiences on a weekly basis. In addition, the broadcast agreement includes rights to regular season games in 2021.

NEW YORK: Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association have begun discussions to divest their respective stakes in fantasy sports platforms, DraftKings and FanDuel, according to a ESPN report.  But both the leagues are keen to remain partners with the platforms though.

BEIJING: Major League Baseball (MLB) and Beijing Enterprises Real-Estate Group Ltd.(BEREGL), a top Chinese state-owned enterprise, have announced a 10-year relationship to grow the game in China.  The announcement was made at a press conference here recently attended by members of the Chinese government, BEREGL, MLB China and some of the top baseball players in the country.
