MUMBAI: Close on the heels of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited managing director and CEO Punit Goenka declaring that Zee’s merger with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) is in the final stages, the Indian media major has made its first big play in international sports broadcasting post its sale of Ten Sports to Sony in 2017. 

Zee will reportedly be the broadcast partner of the upcoming UAE T20 League, which is being mounted by the Emirates Cricket Board and will be fully approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has submitted its inputs on the draft proposal prepared by the Committee of Administrators (CoA) on the new constitution of the BCCI before the Supreme Court. Last month, the Supreme Court had pulled up the Indian board for delays in implementing the recommendations of the Lodha committee.

MUMBAI: India cricket kit sponsor Nike is facing the heat after Indian players reportedly complained to the BCCI about the "sub-standard clothing" being provided to them. NEW DELHI: In its fifth status report filed before the Supreme Court, the Committee of Administrators has sought the removal of the current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office bearers for non compliance of the CoA's directives.
