MUMBAI: Ahmedabad and Kolkata will (as expected) host the IPL playoffs in front of full capacity crowds, the BCCI has confirmed. 

While Eden Gardens will host Qualifier 1 on May 24 followed by the Eliminator the next day, the Narendra Modi Stadium will play host to Qualifier 2 on May 27 and the final on May 29, ESPNcricinfo reports.

The tournament will be held in Mumbai and Pune which has seen a huge drop in Covid-19 numbers, making the state government likely to allow crowds.

MUMBAI: The matches of the upcoming Tata Indian Premier League will reportedly be held across four venues in Mumbai and Pune. While 55 matches will be held in Mumbai across three venues -- Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil and Brabourne Stadium, Pune's MCA International Stadium will play host to 15 games, Cricbuzz reports.
