US pro pickleball assn signs first international deal in India

DALLAS, TX: Pickleball, billed as America’s fastest-growing sport, is going after a new frontier - India. The United Pickleball Association (UPA), which was created after a merger between Major League Pickleball and the Professional Pickleball Association in the US last February, and India-based Global Sports have inked a deal to bring the PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball to the country.

As a part of the partnership, the organizations will launch key initiatives to the country, promoting the rapidly-growing sport to a young market.

RP-SG Mavericks to take on Falcons TTC in UTT opener
MUMBAI: The organizers of the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) have announced the event schedule for the inaugural edition.    UTT will be held from July 13 to July 30 with the opening game featuring RP-SG Mavericks with India's top paddler Sharath Kamal taking on Falcons TTC to be held in Chennai at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and the finale to be held in Mumbai.
