GIIS announces 100% scholarships for children of Indian Olympians

BENGALURU: Global Indian International School has announced a special “GIIS Olympians Scholarship” for children of Indian sportspersons who represented the country at the recently concluded Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. 

This GIIS Olympians Scholarship  will be offered to children of any member of Indian Olympic contingent - including the 7 medal winners as well as those who represented India at the recently concluded games. This is the first time any child of Olympians can now study at any of GIIS schools in India.

Tokyo 2020 ticket sale 1st phase open for Japan residents
TOKYO: Six years since Tokyo was awarded the Olympic Games, the first tickets for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics went on sale on Thursday, with Japanese residents able to enter a lottery to watch the sport of their choice. The lottery for the initial offering of Olympic Games tickets for sale to residents of Japan runs until 23:59 (JST) on 28 May. The results of the lottery will be announced on 20 June.
