The All India Football Federation Executive Committee has approved the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Policy on Wednesday.

The policy is to be implemented with immediate effect.

Based on the PoSH Act 2013, the AIFF PoSH policy is aimed to ensure a safe and inclusive environment within the football fraternity.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina: The governments of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay formally launched a joint bid to host the 2030 Football World Cup on Wednesday.  Argentina, which has hosted the World Cup once in 1978, will likely host the majority of the tournament’s stadiums if the bid proves successful.

The DSA held its managing committee meeting on Monday and, among other things, declared the date for the elections. The DSA also extended the date for various clubs to get registered under the Societies Act to become legal entities to October 22.

NEW DELHI: Top-class infrastructure will be the biggest legacy the FIFA U-17 World Cup will leave behind in India, The Local Organising Committee’s tournament director Javier Ceppi said here Tuesday. “Infrastructure is going to be the biggest legacy of the World Cup, you have seen how things have been,” Ceppi told PTI three days ahead the start of the tournament.
