TOKYO: The organising committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 has shortlisted three mascot design sets for the the next Summer Olympics.
Each design set contains one mascot for the Olympic Games and one for the Paralympic Games. In all, the mascot selection panel reviewed 2,042 entries, submitted by the public as part of an open competition.

The newest franchise based short form cricket league launches later this month featuring 90-minute contests lasting 10-overs-a-side. The tournament wil run for four days from 14-17 December.
