FIM, Dorna announce Women’s Motorcycling World C'ship

The Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto hosted a very special presentation on Saturday as the FIM and MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports announced a new project: the FIM Women’s Motorcycling World Championship. 

The new competition is intended to widen access to the sport of motorcycle racing for women and create a platform of representation for female riders.

HJC Helmets title sponsor of the German GP in 2019, 2020
MADRID: MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports has announced HJC Helmets as title sponsor of the German Grand Prix in both 2019 and 2020, with the popular event to take place at the celebrated Sachsenring once again.  The HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland will take place from the 5th to 7th July in 2019.

Lenovo widens MotoGP tech sponsorship to include eSport c'ship
MADRID: MotoGP commercial rights owner Dorna Sports has announced a multi-year global partnership with Chinese Lenovo as exclusive technology sponsor of the MotoGP eSport Championship, and exclusive provider of gaming PCs, monitors and accessories for the championship’s live events.  In addition to a co-branding sponsorship, the championship players will game on Lenovo Legion’s gaming devices.

French GP to remain on the calendar until 2026
PARIS: MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports has announced a five-year contract extension with PHA and Claude Michy to continue organising the French Grand Prix, securing the future of the event for a further five years, until 2026.   This season marks 25 years of PHA management of the French GP.

MotoGp: GoPro takes top billing at British GP
LONDON: MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports has announced GoPro as title sponsor for the British GP in 2018, with the camera company taking top billing at the event to name it the GoPro British Grand Prix.  Set for the 24th–26th August, the race weekend will once again take place at the stunning Silverstone Circuit – its home since 2010.

MotoGP extends Parts Europe deal
MADRID: Dorna Sports has extended for a further two years the longstanding relationship between Parts Europe and MotoGP’s commercial rights holder that first began more than a decade ago.  Parts Europe is part of the Le Mans Corporation founded by Fred Fox and based in Janesville, Wisconsin, alongside Parts Unlimited.

New app to take top billing at MotoGP's Austria race
MADRID: MotoGP commercial rights holder Dorna Sports has announced eyetime as title sponsor for the Austrian Grand Prix 2018, naming it the eyetime Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich.  Staged at the spectacular Red Bull Ring in the Styrian alps, the event will take place from the 10th to 12th August.
