OMEGA adds Neeraj Chopra to sporting ambassador roster

Olympic and world championships gold medal-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has been roped in as the sporting ambassador of Swiss luxury watches brand OMEGA, which is also the Official Timekeeper for this year's Paris Olympics.

The star Indian athlete was invited to the OMEGA boutique in Doha, ahead of his participation at the first leg of Diamond League on Friday.

UFC names global licensing partner
LAS VEGAS: UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, has entered into a new, multi-year global licensing agreement with Dyaco International that will begin in 2018.  The partnership, negotiated by IMG, grants the rights to manufacture and distribute UFC branded combat and fitness equipment in both professional and retail markets worldwide, excluding China.

RP-SG Mavericks to take on Falcons TTC in UTT opener
MUMBAI: The organizers of the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) have announced the event schedule for the inaugural edition.    UTT will be held from July 13 to July 30 with the opening game featuring RP-SG Mavericks with India's top paddler Sharath Kamal taking on Falcons TTC to be held in Chennai at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and the finale to be held in Mumbai.
