A new agreement between MotoGP and the TT Circuit Assen confirms the classic Dutch venue on the MotoGP calendar until 2031, extending its previous agreement that ran until 2026.

Assen is a fan favourite thanks to its incredible layout, fantastic atmosphere and unique final chicane, the latter of which has been the stage for many of the sport’s most iconic moments, then and now. It’s also MotoGP™s longest-serving venue, having hosted Grand Prix motorcycle racing since the inaugural 1949 season – a unique feat on the modern calendar.

NEW DELHI:Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO Wednesday announced its plans to make a foray into the Indian market and will open three stores in the first year in Delhi-NCR. Given the size and fast growth of the Indian market, the launch will involve three separate stores. The first of the three UNIQLO stores will open in October in New Delhi, the company said in a statement.

CHANDIGARH: Nearly three years after Haryana sports and youth affairs minister Anil Vij announced that the Sports School, Rai (Sonipat), will be upgraded to a Sports University, the state cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal, Indian Express reports. To be named the Sports University of Haryana, this will be the first full-fledged sports university in the state.
