COLOGNE: The Central European division of Universal Music Group (UMG) have announced a multi-year partnership with ESL Gaming, the world’s biggest eSports company that will be managed out of UMG’s Berlin headquarters.

The aim of the agreement is to exclusively help Universal discover and promote new artists through ESL’s global tournaments and channels. In an industry first, UMG will partner with ESL to create the ultimate destination for gaming and music fans alike to experience the official soundtrack of the world’s esports leagues and tournaments.

NEW DELHI: Leading two-wheeler helmet manufacturer Studds Accessories on Wednesday said it has tied up with Rajasthan Royals as their associate sponsor for the Indian Premier League 2021 and 2022 seasons. Based on the terms of the arrangement, Rajasthan Royals will sport the logo of Studds on the leading side of playing headgear including helmet and caps during the 14th and 15th editions of the league.

MUMBAI: Disney+ Hotstar, official streaming partner of the Indian Premier League, announced Wednesday that ten sponsors had already come on board for this year’s VIVO IPL 2021. The IPL will begin in Chennai from 9 April with defending champion Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. The final will be held on 30 May at the Ahmedabad's freshly re-badged Narendra Modi Stadium.

KATHMANDU: Seven by MS Dhoni, the sportswear brand fronted by the former India captain, has signed on as principal co-sponsor for the upcoming edition of the franchise-based Everest Premier League, scheduled to be held in Nepal from September 25 to October 9. Seven will provide cricket kits and clothing to all six franchisees in the twenty20 league. However, financial terms were not disclosed.
